Limitless CS:GO: ESEA Advanced Week 3 Recap

Limitless CS:GO: ESEA Advanced Week 3 Recap

Coming into week 3, Limitless CS:GO was looking to improve on their record after splitting their matches in week 2. This week they had Unjustified Gaming and New Threat in front of them, with Unjustified Gaming coming into the match undefeated for the season at 4-0 while New Threat had a rocky start winning two and losing two games. It was a big week for the team and this is how it went down.

Limitless vs Unjustified Gaming Match Recap

This was possibly Limitless’ hardest matchup so far as they went up against the undefeated Unjustified Gaming who had won in very dominant fashion in many of their previous matches. Limitless had to be on the top of their game in order to hand them their first loss.

The match started off well for the Limitless squad as they were able to have a 15-5 lead after 20 rounds in the match but Unjustified Gaming went on a massive 11 round win streak following that and took the lead at 16-15. Even though the momentum was no longer on Limitless’ side they were able to come back and win the game 22-20 after AtomiK, Millz and Slugy led the charge in the final rounds of the game.

It was a very good game for the team as a whole with all players contributing to the win but it was the previously mentioned AtomiK that continued his good run of matches which helped the team take down Unjustified Gaming. Just like that, Limitless had beaten a very strong team and that had the team’s record sitting at 4-1.

Limitless vs New Threat Match Recap

The second matchup of the week saw Limitless take on New Threat. Limitless came into the game with the big win against Unjustified Gaming behind them while New Threat came in after losing two straight matches in week 2. Both teams were looking to get the win and improve on their records.

The match started off pretty evenly with both teams taking rounds but Limitless was able to get a small 10-6 lead after 16 rounds but that wouldn’t last for long. New Threat came right back winning seven straight rounds as they took a 13-10 lead after that. They were able to build on that momentum and close out the match with a score of 16-11.

It was a decent game for most of the Limitless squad but that was dwarfed by the whole New Threat playing much better together. It was Fatality that got most of the kills for them with tactile and insightz doing a lot as well. This loss put Limitless’ record at 4-2 for the season with them sitting 15th in the standings as of right now.

The team will be looking to avenge that loss next week as well as climb up the leaderboard. All of the matches were streamed on the Limitless Twitch channel so if you would like to watch the team in action for the rest of their matches then make sure to drop a follow on the channel. That’s it for this article.
